As your garden grows, share the beauty with other dahlia lovers and enter your photos in the 2024 ADS Photo Contest and the People’s Choice Photo Contest. The deadline for both is December 1st, 2024. This year, we will trial a photo contest application which will allow you to upload your photos to a dedicated website. Check back around October 1st, 2024 for “how to” information. You can submit your photos to adsphotocontest@dahlia.org too! I hope your gardens thrive this year.

Three photos per class – 30 photo limit
Class 1 – Undisseminated Dahlias/Seedlings
Class 2 – Dahlia Portrait—Portrait of a single cultivar
Class 3 – Dahlia Blooms- More than one bloom or multiple cultivars
Class 4 – Dahlia Gardens
Class 5 – Dahlia Shows and Personalities
Class 6 – Dahlia arrangements- Cut flowers welcome.
Class 7- Dahlias and Kids
Class 8 – Dahlias and critters- Insects, pets
Class 9 – Macro View- Up close photo
Class 10 – Digital Darkroom- Have fun and experiment.
People’s Choice- Artist’s choice, no set categories. One photo. You decide the winner!
