In the past, the American Dahlia Society presented a Border/Container Dahlia of the Year Award. In order to select and showcase exceptional border/container dahlias, the ADS conducted annual garden trials of border and container dahlias in all areas of the country. Evaluators at the trial sites reported results and a committee selected one variety to be the ADS Border/Container Dahlia Of The Year. Here are past winners.
