Awarded to the cultivar that has the highest average trial garden score in the accredited trial gardens located across the United States and Canada during the previous year as an AA/A; B; BB; M; Ball/Miniature Ball/Pompon; ST/NX; and Waterlily. Recently, at the 2022 National Show, the National Dahlia Society (NDS) awarded their silver medal to eight ADS members:

Each year the ADS produces a compilation of new introductions that is made available to all members. It consists of dahlias that will be available through distributors in the coming year.  Trial Garden and Seedling Bench Evaluation Winners will be included for free, but other new introductions can be included in the presentation for a cost of $10 per image. … See entire post.
